SocialPostingOS ("we," "us," or "our") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our service.
SocialPostingOS is a product of Real Estate OS (DBA). References to "we," "us," or "our" in this Privacy Policy refer to Real Estate OS and its products.
Summary: We collect only what's needed to provide our service. We never sell your data. Your listing photos and information stay yours.
1. Information We Collect
1.1 Information You Provide
- Account Information: Email address, name, and password when you create an account
- Profile Information: Brokerage name, team name, phone number, website, headshot photo, and logo
- Listing Data: Property addresses, photos, prices, features, and other listing details you enter
- Buyer Information: Buyer names, preferences, price ranges, and requirements you enter
- Payment Information: Processed securely by Stripe; we do not store credit card numbers
1.2 Information Collected Automatically
- Usage Data: Features used, posts created, time spent in app
- Device Information: Browser type, operating system, device identifiers
- Log Data: IP address, access times, pages viewed
1.3 Local Storage
Our application stores data locally in your browser (localStorage) for offline functionality and performance. This includes your listings, buyers, branding, and preferences. This data remains on your device unless you choose to sync with our cloud service.

We use your information to:
- Provide and maintain our Service
- Process your subscription payments
- Send scheduled post reminders (Pro users)
- Respond to your inquiries and support requests
- Improve and optimize our Service
- Send important service updates and announcements

3. Third-Party Social Media Platforms
Our Service helps you create content for posting on third-party social media platforms. Here's how we interact with each platform:
3.1 Facebook & Instagram (Meta Platforms)
- What we do: We create downloadable images and copyable captions. We provide links to Facebook, Instagram, Facebook Marketplace, and Facebook Groups.
- What we don't do: We do not connect to Facebook's API, access your Facebook account, post on your behalf, or collect any data from your Facebook/Instagram accounts.
- Your responsibility: When you share content to Meta platforms, your use is governed by Facebook's Terms of Service and Meta's Privacy Policy.
3.2 LinkedIn
- What we do: We create downloadable images and copyable captions. We provide a link to LinkedIn.
- What we don't do: We do not connect to LinkedIn's API, access your LinkedIn account, or post on your behalf.
- Your responsibility: Content shared to LinkedIn is governed by LinkedIn's User Agreement and Privacy Policy.
3.3 TikTok
- What we do: We create downloadable images and copyable captions. We provide a link to TikTok.
- What we don't do: We do not connect to TikTok's API, access your TikTok account, or post on your behalf.
- Your responsibility: Content shared to TikTok is governed by TikTok's Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.
3.4 X (Twitter)
- What we do: We create downloadable images and copyable captions. We provide a link to X.
- What we don't do: We do not connect to X's API, access your X account, or post on your behalf.
- Your responsibility: Content shared to X is governed by X's Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.
3.5 Google Business Profile
- What we do: We create downloadable images and copyable captions. We provide a link to Google Business Profile.
- What we don't do: We do not connect to Google's API, access your Google account, or post on your behalf.
- Your responsibility: Content shared to Google Business Profile is governed by Google's Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.
Important: SocialPostingOS is a content creation tool only. We do not have access to your social media accounts and cannot post content on your behalf. You manually download images and copy captions to share yourself.

5. Data Security
We implement appropriate security measures including:
- HTTPS encryption for all data transmission
- Secure password hashing
- Regular security audits
- Access controls and authentication
However, no method of transmission over the Internet is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security.
6. Data Retention
- Active Accounts: We retain your data as long as your account is active
- Cancelled Accounts: Data is deleted within 30 days of account deletion
- Local Data: Data stored in your browser's localStorage persists until you clear it or use our Reset feature
- Backups: Backup copies may be retained for up to 90 days for disaster recovery
7. Your Rights and Choices
7.1 Access and Export
You can export all your data at any time using the Export feature in Settings.
7.2 Deletion
You can delete your data using the Reset feature or by contacting us to delete your account.
7.3 Correction
You can update your information at any time through the app.
7.4 Marketing Communications
You can opt out of marketing emails by clicking "unsubscribe" in any email. Service-related emails (scheduled post reminders) cannot be opted out of while using those features.
8. California Privacy Rights (CCPA)
If you are a California resident, you have the right to:
- Know what personal information we collect
- Request deletion of your personal information
- Opt-out of the sale of personal information (we do not sell personal information)
- Non-discrimination for exercising your rights
9. International Users (GDPR)
If you are in the European Economic Area (EEA), you have rights under GDPR including:
- Right of access to your data

- Right to erasure ("right to be forgotten")
- Right to data portability
- Right to object to processing
Our legal basis for processing is: (a) contract performance for providing the Service, (b) legitimate interests for improving our Service, and (c) consent where required.

Our Service is not intended for children under 18. We do not knowingly collect information from children. If you believe we have collected information from a child, please contact us immediately.

We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. We will notify you of material changes via email or through the Service. The "Last Updated" date indicates when changes were made.
